GREATER PHILADELPHIA & PINELANDS CHAPTERS At a joint meeting of the above chapter, Nelson L. Mellitz, CPCM, Fellow, (center) is presented with the Greater Philadelphia Chapter’s traditional replica of the Liberty Bell and a ceramic bowl from the Pinelands Chapter for his workshop topic “Have We Improved in Today’s Contracting Emergency Responses to War and Natural Disasters.” Making the presentations are (from l to r) Sidney Ozer, Chapter President, and Katrina Henderson, Chapter Vice President, from the Greater Philadelphia Chapter and Ann M. Jackson, CPCM, Chapter President, and Martha Conceicao, Chapter Vice President, from the Pinelands Chapter. The joint meeting was held on September 18, 2008 at Lockheed Martin’s Cherry Hill, NJ facility.

The Chapter’s brain trust held their “Team Building” meeting on June 17, 2008 at Sweet Lucy’s Smokehouse in Philadelphia. Led by Sidney Ozer, the Chapter 2008-2009 President (at the far end of the table), the officers, chairpersons, and volunteers discussed lesson learned from the current program year and presented plans for the coming year.

At the Chapter’s Team Building meeting held on June 17, 2008, Sidney Ozer (r), Chapter President Elect, US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Region III, presents a “Thank You” bear to Brian Gocial, Esq., Chapter Vice President Elect for Education , Blank Rome, LLP. All chapter officers and volunteers received the “Thank You” bear. Note that the bear the wearing an official NCMA shirt.

At the Chapter’s Team Building meeting held on June 17, 2008, Sidney Ozer, Chapter President Elect, US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Region III, presents Ms. Tammy M. Edgington, Weston Solutions, Inc. with the Chapter’s 2007-2008 scholarship award.
