DLA Corporate Intern Announcement for October 2009

The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) will be staffing
positions for the Defense Logistics Agency's (DLA) Corporate Intern
Program. These are full time civil service positions in the Contracting,
Supply Management, and Quality Assurance career fields at DSCP.

We would like to consider you for the upcoming class commencing
February, 16, 2010. To qualify, you must possess a baccalaureate degree
with a grade point average (GPA) not less than 2.95, or an advanced
degree, or relevant experience in one of the aforementioned career
fields.

The job announcement will open from September 21 through 28, 2009.
You must apply through the following web site/link during this

The above link will also provide you detailed information on the
intern program. Additionally, it will give a summary of the duties and
responsibilities of the vacancies being filled, and information on the
qualifications. To apply for the intern program, click on the link and
go to the bottom of the page and click on current vacancies listing.
Look at the grid with the geographical locations and click on the
position (s) you are interested under that location/activity. Make sure
you apply during the timeframe indicated above. If you miss the
timeframe, you will not be considered for the February 2010 intern
class.

Prior to applying on-line, you will need to prepare and complete
the documents listed below. Follow the directions stated in the job
announcement for submission of these documents. All documentation must
be received by the Office of Personnel Management prior to the closing
date of the job announcement.

In addition, Veterans will need to submit the following documents:

* DD 214, Member Copy 4 (Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty)

* Complete SF-15, Application for 10-point Veteran's Preference (if applicable) with required proof such as a
letter from the Veterans Administration dated within the last year stating the percentage of disability.
